Wrong time setting in DB

Hi All,

Few days ago I moved to this hosting from other similar place.
Everything goes well here, but some strange DB behavior makes me mad: it uses totally wrong time settings. I'm not talking about timezone, the result of SELECT NOW() is not aligned with any clock in the world. For example, my wall-clock shows 9:25pm while SQL returns 15:12 ...
Obviously the ntpd is down, but I've no admin access for MySQL host.

How could it be fixed?
